*For Weekend Retreat prices and info, click on Yoga & Meditation Retreats. WORKSHOPS The workshops held at the Morgan Mill Community Center are open to beginners and on-going students. You can come to the morning session, the afternoon session, or the full day. Contact Janie for a flyer with the details. Janie offers group workshops lasting 3 to 8 hours. The Workshops present deep breathing, deep relaxation, mindfulness meditation, and simple feel-good yoga postures suitable for adults of all ages. She can customize the content to meet the needs of your group. Yoga is a wonderful tool for stress reduction, dealing with difficult emotions, decreasing physical discomfort, and increasing strength, energy, wellness, inner peace. Yoga helps us learn mindfulness--present moment awareness. Mindfulness is valuable in helping us reduce the amount of time we spend on "automatic pilot". Present moment awareness lets us make conscious choices, rather than "react" to things.
COSTS are based on 6 or more participants:
If a room has to be rented, the price is increased to cover the cost of the room. If the group has specific needs, desires or goals, Janie will design the content around these needs.
