YOGA/MEDITATION RETREATS

Come and Enjoy Deep Breathing, Deep Relaxation, Feel-good Good-for-you Yoga, Easy Meditation, Abundant Delicious Fresh Vegetarian Meals, Leisurely Walks, & Comfortable Simple Lodging, for a truly affordable All Inclusive Price.  At some locations but not all, also available are wonderful healing massages for the special retreat price of $50-$55, provided by experienced gifted professional massage therapists.

Retreats run from Friday 7:30 pm to Sunday 2 pm.  Retreats are designed for All Levels--Beginners, On-Going Students, Teachers, and for people who have never done any yoga or meditation, but are curious.  Women and men are welcome.  You do NOT need to be fit or young or flexible or healthy! 

WEEKEND RETREAT PRICES

The All Inclusive Price for retreats at the CRC in Ft. Worth is $197, or $167 if paid by the early discount deadline.  (This price covers lodging, meals, and classes.)   

The All Inclusive Price for retreats at Janie's Country Retreat House near Stephenville, TX, is $209, or $179 if paid by the early discount deadline.  (This price covers lodging, meals, and classes.)               

CATHOLIC RENEWAL CENTER (CRC), FT. WORTH, TEXAS:

The CRC is a wonderful place to get away from it all.  Originally, the building was a convent for the nuns who taught at Nolan Catholic High School.  In 1972, the building was purchased and converted into a retreat center and bookstore by a group of visionary lay women who “bridge the gap” by hosting holistic and inter-faith retreats and renewal opportunities.  When you walk in you can feel how special this simple place is--the result of years of good people doing good things here.  You notice it in the lovely courtyard filled with flowers, the comfy visiting rooms, the small chapel, the amazingly inviting sprawling grounds with large old trees, and the huge window-lined multi-purpose room where we meet and eat and have our yoga & meditation sessions.  The center is located at 4503 Bridge Street, next to Nolan High School, on the north side of I-30 near Oakland Exit.  It is in the east/central part of Ft. COUNTRY RETREAT HOUSE, near STEPHENVILLE, TEXAS:

The Country Retreat House is 25 minutes north/west of Stephenville, 1 hour south/west of Ft. Worth, and 2 hours south/west of Dallas.  It is a simple house way out in the country on a dirt road, where the starry night sky is clearly visible, where the trees make a canopy over the dirt road, and where you have an opportunity to hear and see untouched and unvarnished nature at it's simple best.  It sleeps 12 people, has room for 12 yoga mats, and has a room where therapeutic massages are offered during Janie's retreats.  (Massages are optional, and for an additional fee, but wonderfully healing.)                  THE COUNTRY RETREAT HOUSE IS AVAILABLE FOR RENT TO YOGA, MEDITATION, AND OTHER TEACHERS FOR RETREATS AND/OR WORKSHOPS.  CONTACT JANIE FOR RENTAL COSTS AND AVAILABLE DATES.   

ADDITIONAL RETREATS & LOCATIONS:

Janie has held retreats in private homes and other retreat centers, and can hold a retreat in any suitable location, for any group.  Contact Janie to discuss holding a retreat at a location of your choice, or for your group.  

SILENT RETREAT:

Consider attending a silent weekend retreat.  If you've never done this, you may not be able to even conceive of the restfulness it allows, not to mention the ease of self-exploration, and soul connectedness.
