SANSKRIT:  SETU BANDHASANA
(Counter-pose to Shoulderstand & Plow)

PHYSICAL-promotes flexible wrists when mid back is supported by hands; reduces back tension & strengthens spine & neck; strengthens lower back & abdomen, brings fresh blood to pineal, pituitary, & thyroid glands; supports/strengthens adrenals; tones kidneys
