QUESTIONS ABOUT CLASSES?

I’VE NEVER DONE ANY YOGA. WHEN ARE YOUR BEGINNER CLASSES? 

Almost every class has a beginner, and we each come to class to begin again. Every class is gentle. Janie’s instructions ease you into checking what your body can & can’t do at any given time. Gentle yoga does not hurt.  If you feel something hurt, you stop, breath, ease up, and relax. You are in charge of what you do.  You pay attention to your body and go only as far as your body can at the time. You simply begin. Don’t let your lack of experience keep you away.

DO I NEED TO WAIT UNTIL THE NEXT YOGA SESSION BEGINS TO START YOGA?

No. Each class stands on its own, so you can benefit from a single class, just a few of them, or the full session of classes. You can begin anytime you desire, and no experience is required.

I CAN’T DO YOGA BECAUSE I’M NOT FLEXIBLE & I’M OUT OF SHAPE. RIGHT?

Wrong! Yoga slowly, gently begins to bring flexibility, awareness, increased energy, and other good things to you. It’s not a quick fix. But you will immediately feel the benefits. It’s amazing how good you feel when you just spend time breathing more fully.
