The Chapel on the Bosque was originally the Stephenville Presbyterian Church. It was moved to this location and rededicated on July 4, 1976. It is now nondenominational and a wide variety of community events are held here, including marriages, meetings, and stage productions. |

The minister's study in The Chapel on the Bosque (above) has been furnished in period style. The bookcase was originally donated by J. Collin George to the first public library in Stephenville. Collin George was the attorney who persuaded John Tarleton to establish Tarleton College. |
